The Point System:
Yes you get points for posting a message and a subject. On average you get +1 points for posting a message and +3 for posting a subject. The main reason for the point system is to encourage people to post. In some forums the points for posting a message or subject is greater or less than the +1 and +3. Eventually, when the website becomes popular enough, rewards will be given out.
Reputation System:
The is a visual system to show how wise a person may be. The higher there rep. the cooler, smarter, hotter, and more awesome they are. Also, it proves that the person posts well topics and not spam!
